The Association initially appointed Pentos to support us in providing remote connectivity to our regionally based staff. I was impressed by their flexible approach and the quality of their work, to the extent that 5½ years on I continue to use their services. In recent months, Pentos have also provided skilled temporary IT staff to help with day to day support cover and specific project work.

We have been delighted with the quality, professionalism and friendly nature of the support provided to us by Pentos. For the past three years they have provided remote monitoring for our servers and their engineers have paid us regular visits to advise and guide us on the development of our network infrastructure. As a result of their expertise we now have for example, remote access to our network for staff via VPN, a campus wide secure and robust wireless network, an internally configured firewall and a number of high quality servers and associated network hardware.

The engineers have been able to tailor their expertise to the needs of a typical comprehensive school. The quality of the IT support in the school was recognised by the assessors for the ICT Mark, which is a national accreditation for schools. We are the first secondary school in Wokingham and the second in Berkshire to achieve this award. There is no doubt that Pentos has played a significant role in making this achievement possible.
